Abstract

In 2017, Miren Ibarluzea completed and defended her doctoral dissertation, which shares its title with this article: Representations of translation in contemporary Basque literature: The autonomizatio of the field, literary historiographies and translators in fiction). Specifically, using the tools of sociology of translation, she examines the representations of translated Basque literature in contemporary times on three different levels: the social level (explaining its process of relative autonomy), in the construction of literary historiographies, and in the appearance of fictional translators.
