Translation techniques for the use of non-sexist language
The purpose of this article is to identify and classify translation techniques that use non-sexist language in order to create a tool for translating gender from a feminist perspective. For this purpose, seven contemporary translations of feminist works written in Basque and translated into Spanish were analyzed in depth and, based on these translations, various translation techniques, both to neutralize gender and to mark it from a critical perspective, were compiled.
