A new contribution to historical studies on translation: the 'Historia de la traducción en España' (HTE) digital portal
Abstract
In this work, we present two digital portals managed by the authors: Biblioteca de traducciones españolas and Historia de la traducción en España. The former, created in 2007, is now fully functional, while in the future the latter, which was just created, will include an updated history of translation in Spain and nearly a thousand entries on authors, translators and foreign literature in translation, most originating from the Diccionario histórico de la traducción en España, published in 2009. Additionally, it will also include a collection of Spanish essays on translation from medieval times to the present.
