Notes on the Transfer of Poetry
Abstract
On the occasion of the reissue of Zenbait poeta katalan (Various Catalan Poets )(1997) as part of the Golden Library, the author of this article recalls his work as anthologist and translator of the anthology. After remembering that time in which he had less experience and more limited resources, he reflects on various ways of undertaking an anthology and recollects the reception that his selection had when it was first published. He concludes with notes on poetic translation.
