Abstract

This article includes a number of practical pointers to help translators successfully handle documents presented in different digital formats and without spending too much time (and therefore money) on them. Although they have not been very common until now, there is no doubt that they are set to become more widespread given that companies requiring translation services more and more frequently request services that require a high degree of computing skills. This fact can however be turned into an opportunity for people, insofar as these skills signify adding value to the translated product.
