Translating living Basque writers – what I learned from translating Uxue Apaolaza’s 'Bihurguneko nasa' ('The Station on the Curve')
The translation of a living and bilingual Basque writer (which happens more and more often) often leads to a phase of collaboration between the author and the translator, which can take place at several different levels. The author of this article explains how he worked on his translation into Spanish of Uxue Apaolaza’s Bihurguneko nasa (The Station on the Curve), giving specific examples.
