Kantatutzera nua: how we started out in the Administration of Navarre
Summary
In 1988, the Government of Navarre created its Translation Section, within the Directorate-General for Language Policy that existed at the time and in accordance with the provisions of the Provincial Law on the Basque Language, which had been approved two years earlier. This article describes how the translators of that administrative unit worked, especially in its early years, before the use of the internet was normalized and at a time when administrative language in Basque in general, and its terminology in particular, had not yet been consolidated.
