Joseba Urzelai Agirre, in memoriam
Summary
Translator and EIZIE member Joseba Urzelai Agirre was born in 1963. First a Basque teacher, he then worked as a translator for the Basque Government for several years, after which he started working for the Provincial Council of Biscay as a translator, terminologist and proofreader. Joseba passed away last summer, and we here present the words of his friend and colleague, Iñigo Errasti. Among other things, Errasti wished to share with Senez another of Joseba’s hobbies, photography, and we therefore include a text composed by Joseba for an exhibition of his photographs, as a window to his character.
