40 Catalan poets
Abstract
In this issue we offer a long illustrated poem translated into Basque from Catalan. It appears in an anthology edited by Josep Pedrals of 40 Catalan poets born in or after 1980: 40 poetes de meyns de 40 [40 Poets Under 40]. The anthology is a web project that can be found on the Lletra website of the Open University of Catalonia. We selected Cora Marín and Pere Vilanova to represent all the creators in the anthology. Pere is a writer, singer, and translator. A couple of days before Cora was born, an ETA commando set off an explosive in front of the house in Vic where her family was living. New times for the Basque Country and Catalonia, as seen by artists.
