Literary translation among Basque and other minority languages
Abstract
This article examines the literary translation exchanges among Basque literature and literatures written in other minority languages. For that purpose, a descriptive study was undertaken based on a catalog. The study focuses on the reasons and functions behind such translations, and aims to explain the context in which they were created in order to see if any conclusions can be drawn about relationships among languages.
