Txillardegi: a New Star in the Sky of Muitza
In homage to one of our honorary members who recently passed on, José Luis Álvarez Enparantza (nicknamed Txillardegi), we have published a text written by his son in the name of the whole family, that is both a heartfelt homage to Txillardegi and brief overview of his life. It is accompanied by a text translated by Txillardegi and chosen during his lifetime by the translator himself; it was previously published in the anthology Itzulpen Antologia III (Anthology of Translation III) published by EIZIE (Euskal Itzultzaile, Zuzentzaile eta Interpreteen Elkartea, the Association of Translators, Correctors and Interpreters of the Basque Language) and edited by Lurdes Auzmendi and Koldo Biguri.
