Praise be to correctors!
Abstract
The purpose of this small collection of anecdotes is very modest: to compile a set of amusing errors noted by the author and his coworkers in their professional work and especially in correcting each other’s translations, and share them with the readers of Senez, with the humble wish that they might inspire a smile. Likewise, and taking into consideration that such things happen to all of us in any field of work (occasionally but undoubtedly, as the ItzuL listserv shows), the author would like to encourage other translators and correctors to share their “incidents” from time to time.
