A chronicle of the summer course “Translation, an activity in continuous technological transformation”
Summary
In July of 2022, a conference entitled “Translation, an activity in continuous technological transformation” was held in Bayonne as one of the Cross-Border Summer Courses (UNUM). It was a unique opportunity to learn about the experiences and hear the testimonies of many professionals involved in translation in one way or another. The talks and round tables showcased today’s technological advances, and many translators, interpreters and researchers who make use of this progress every day discussed the advantages and limitations of this continuous transformation. This article includes a short personal chronicle of the conference.
