Anjel Lertxundi, a well known and reputable author in the field of Basque letters, reflects on issues which writers, translators and even readers will find both stimulating and thought-provoking: such as how his generation is linked with translation in general first, and then more particularly with translation in Basque; its popularity, application and relevance; and, finally, to what extent this field has progressed in the last few years when compared to Basque creative literature.
