'Masculinities' in Basque: the highlights (and reflections) of a translation process

Based on the process of translating R. W. Connell’s Masculinities into Basque, this article reflects, humorously, on the profession of (Basque) translators. This work departs somewhat from more conventional analyses of translation and focuses instead on the experiences and feelings of the translator; indeed, every profession has its own peculiarities, and we translators often find ourselves in unexpected places.
