Summary
The aim of this article is to analyze in greater detail the translations and style of translator and teacher Maria Dolores Agirre (1903-1997). For this purpose, we first offer a brief biography of Agirre; next, a general overview of all the translations she did for the theater; and finally, we analyze her translation of Yerma (Basque title: Iturri-agor) in order to better understand her translation style. In the last section, we present the conclusions of our research.
