Enblemak (2010)

Enblemak is the Basque version of Emblemas, a collection of poems by the Spanish writer Clara Janés. The book was translated by Juan Mari Lekuona, the first president of the Association of Basque Translators EIZIE, who handwrote the basque translations in the pages of the original text in 1991. He then gave it to the writer Jon Kortazar. EIZIE has now published, with the support of the City Council of Oiartzun and the Department of Culture of the Basque Government, the facsimile of this translation, which, at the same time, is a tribute to the translator.
