The translators participating in the program have been chosen through a call; they will carry on stays of six months or one month in the Basque Country, where they will study Basque and deepen the knowledge of the language.

The translators that already are here, for a stay of 6 months are: Laura Liubinavicivte (Lithuania), Mariya Petrova (Bulgaria), Barbara Pregelj (Slovenia) and Katarzyna Sosnowska (Poland). They arrived in January and will be in the Basque Country until June, at the Barnetegi of Zornotza. They introduced themselves today in Donostia, in a meeting with representatives of the organizer institutions and the media, with whom they have talked about translation and the new experience of learning Euskera.
