Computer Basics for Translators - 2005
EIZIE (Euskal Itzultzaile, Zuzentzaile eta Interpreteen Elkartea, the Association of Translators, Correctors and Interpreters of the Basque Language) offered a course on Computer Basics for Translators for the purpose of presenting different computer applications and standards for translators.
The course, which was taught by translator Gotzon Egia, consisted of a theoretical discussion of each topic together with practical exercises.
The course was taught through the Basque Summer University in Eibar (Guipuzcoa), in four 3-hour sessions, on June 14, 16, 21 and 23, 2005.
The topics discussed were:
