Eider Rodriguez and Lander Garro won the Etxepare-Laboral Kutxa Translation Prize 2020

The prize went to ‘Un corazón demasiado grande’, the Spanish translation of the short story collection ‘Bihotz handiegia’, by Eider Rodriguez.

Eider Rodriguez and Lander Garro were the awarded ones in this sixth edition of the Etxepare-Laboral Kutxa Translation Prize, for their Spanish translation of the work Bihotz handiegia [A heart too large] (Susa, 2017), written by Rodriguez herself. The Spanish version was published last year by Random House.

The presentation ceremony took place at the Historical Archive of the Basque Country (Bilbao) on the 16^th of October.

The jury highlighted the quality of the translation as well as the effort made by the publishing house to promote the work.
